Carol has been in financial services since 1998, having previously worked in variety of industries, including education, local government, Civil Service and the gaming industry. A qualified and experienced teacher Carol gained her degree at King Alfred’s College in Winchester and taught in Romsey, Hampshire. She then spent 7 years at Skandia, managing the PEP & ISA new business and transfers department. Carol joined TISA in 2004 and has been responsible for the day-to-day running of the Association’s administration centre, technical support, member communications, expanding the events and training programme and technical issues in the cash savings sector. In 2009, she also took on the role of Company Secretary. Carol joined the TISA Board as Operations Director in July 2011, extending her responsibilities to include finance. This was swiftly followed by taking a position as Executive Director for TISA Exchange (TeX). In August 2015, Carol became Chief Operations Officer for TISA, supporting the Director General with the general running of the company and with personal responsibilities for Children’s Financial Education, internal administration, HR and finance together with acting as TISA spokesman for the media and at functions. Carol is also a Director for both TeX (the contract club managing the legal structure supporting electronic messaging for transfers) and CT Holdings & Services Ltd (which operates under the brand of STAR where TeX and Criterion are working in collaboration to deliver the Service Level Agreements recommended by the Transfers & Re-registration Industry Group tasked by FCA to improve transfer times).Close X

Click to view bioAndrew ColeFidelityAndrew was brought up and educated in Johannesburg, South Africa where he attended WITS University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He served part of his articles with Deloitte before moving to Cape Town to join an accounting and auditing firm, Gross Hendler and Frank, where he was promoted to Partner after qualifying and practised for four years. Andrew’s interests then moved to Commerce and Finance where he held several senior management positions before entering the wealth management sector as a Private Bank consultant with Investec Bank. In order to develop his financial management skills he joined JP Morgan (previously Tasc Administration), South Africa’s largest Fund Administration provider, where he spent six years heading up, amongst others, the finance, technology and international operations divisions. He played a key strategic role in new business development and the business acquisition by JP Morgan. Andrew then pursued an opportunity to set up and develop an offshore administration centre of excellence for Close Brothers Group Plc in South Africa. Having successfully completed the assignment he was promoted to Managing Director of Close Fund Services Ltd, the Group’s fund administration business based in Guernsey. After five years with Close Brothers, Andrew was approached by Barclays in 2011 to take up the role of Global Head of Wealth Services and Head of Operations in the Isle of Man. He was responsible for optimising operational performance of Wealth operations and executing transformational, strategic and tactical change projects and initiatives in line with the Group’s ”Transform” programme. Andrew left Barclays in May 2014 to join Fidelity as Head of Platform Shared Services and Change where his primary responsibility is the execution of Fidelity’s multi-year strategic programme. In January 2016 he took over responsibility for Retail Operations supporting the UK Financial Services business and towards the end of the year the Workplace Investing Operations functions. With effect from January 2018 Andrew’s role expanded to include all Distribution Operations functions globally.Close X

She successfully led the business through a technology transition while still increasing coverage, profitability and achieving a far greater competitive business. Previously she worked at Euroclear SA/NV for 17 years. Katrina’s most recent role there was Global Head of FundsPlace and member of the EUI Executive Management team where she was responsible for FundsPlace, Euroclear’s specialist global market infrastructure and innovative fund solution. Here she drove greater alignment with strategic partners and built the strategy for Fundsplace across the globe. He co-founded Seccl in 2016 selling the business initially to Octopus Capital in 2019 and finally in 2024. He chaired Altus 2015 to 2016. Before that Hugo was a founder and Chief Executive and Chairman of the Ascentric Platform building the business to £10bn assets under management from 2007 to 2015. He was Chief Executive of James Hay launching the James Hay Wrap and held senior positions at both Abbey National (now Santander) and Lloyds Bank.
